Slipknots "Clown" Says About Slipknot New Album

SLIPKNOT Has Written 'Amazing' Songs For Next Album

Slipknot last album was ".5: The Gray Chapter". back in 2014 . Since then the band has tour through the world but they didn't create anything new! An interview that has taken place in Namm 2017 with protagonist Mick Thompson (Guitarist). In this interview Mick said that although Corey will start working on a new Stone Sour Album he will work on new Slipknot album too . Stone Sour officialy confirm new album with the name "Hydrograd"

 due to this summer . So know the bands clown aka Shawn "Clown" Crahan say in an interview to Meltdown of the WRIF radio station in Detroit, Michigan, Crahan stated :

"Well, we're writing as a band, and with Corey as well. Yes, we're off, and we're off for a while — for a long while. Okay, [it's] much needed. We'd been touring for three years. Corey's doing what he does, which is STONE SOUR, which is awesome. And he's living that life, which is awesome, 'cause he does really well and love it; it's his art. So he does that. And we're writing. We're beginning to write some music for SLIPKNOT for the new record. He's aware of it… So while we're writing, he's getting songs."

Crahan went on to say that SLIPKNOT fans shouldn't expect any new material for quite a while.
"But we're not just gonna sit around… some of us aren't just gonna sit around, because we've done that for twenty years, " he explained. "We just feel like writing. We've had so much fun writing 'The Gray Chapter', and people that started writing together during this album cycle never wrote together in fifteen years, so things are a little bit different and it's amazing and it's fun, and we have a good time."

So it seems like we have to have less that we expeting for a new Slipknot Album !

Ghost Won Grammy But It Seems Like Ghost Papa Fired All Members

It Seems Its Not A Rumors Anymore

It seems like its not rumors anymore .The band won Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance award in Swedish Grammys. But hold on ! Instead of the whole band stand up and accept the award only Papa came to accept it!  As MetalSucks reports, only one Nameless Ghoul was there to accept the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance award, and seeing that Tobias Forge , aka Papa, previously dressed as Ghouls for interviews (including one conducted by the source), a scenario of Forge accepting the award as a Ghoul doesn't come as too far fetched. So it seems like Papa fired all the old member as we suspected and maybe he will show up with an all new lineup ! (Video Of The Award Down Below)
The musician told Metal Wani:

"From a practical point of view, you're interested in, on the one hand, preserving the sound, or the elements that make up the sound, and you still wanna progress. I think one of the secrets behind our preserving ability is the fact that we don't necessarily have to have the same six people in the room to make that sound, which helps.

"It's always a blessing and a curse when you have some of these classic bands over the course of rock and roll history, where in order for them to sound like that exact band, you need those four individuals, and if one is missing, it does not sound like that.

"And, fortunately, we don't have that problem.

"Because performing Ghost and recording Ghost has never really been the same thing. So that we can preserve our sound; we don't have to rely on... if some people come and go, which is good.

"Queens of the Stone Age is the same thing. Everything goes through Josh's hands, and therefore it sounds like Queens of the Stone Age, regardless of who he brings in and out of the band, which is, I guess, a similar situation."

Have Papa fired all members ?? Will there be a new lineup ? who knows?

Bad Νews For Game of Thrones Fans

Liam Cunningham Says Series Won't Return Until July

This is not in the metal news section but we all love game of thrones so why not? So news about Game Of Thrones Is not so good . Liam Cunningham ,(Sir Davos in the TV series) gave an interview in HBO's hit fantasy series . All of those he said the most important is that the premiere for the season 7 of the series has been pushed back several times .He said: "


"I've been disappointing various people around the world because it was meant to

come out in April. It's July now, I think.

"There's going to be a launch and something special happening this year for the premiere. The bad news is, there will only be seven episodes and the final season starts again as far as I know in September."


The season 7 will only have 7 episodes but longer .So as Cunningham said there will be some good news and some bad news . The good news is that there is going to be a new game of thrones season because he said that the shots for the new season will start in September . The bad news is that there are only going to be seven episodes in this season and that the season 8 will be the last season of the series.Also that we have to wait until July for the season 7 to released on our TV's So my dear friends we need to have patience because July is not that far !! So Brace yourself new game of thones season is coming!

Disturbed's David Draiman Says Will Record Acoustic EP Before Beginning Work On Next Studio Album

The Sound Of Silence Was Just A Start

Disturbed did their return with "Immortalized" which was released in 2015 . Now it seems like the band is regrouping to make a new album but hold on !! The band's frontman DAVID DRAIMAN said in an interview on  Rock Antenne  that :

"Well, the plan at this particular point in time is to take a little bit of time off, spend some time with our families, get some personal stuff done. We have an acoustic EP that we're working on. That's something we've wanted to do for years that we just never had the time or the opportunity to. So that we'll be working on in between our LP releases. And then probably 2018 we will head back into the studio to record the next record and hopefully have a release sometime in late 2018 and hit the road 2019 again."

So it seems like the sound of silence was just the begin of what the band will do . I personally love their approach on some acoustic songs but I don't want them to stop creating heavy music !! Full interview down below!

Drowned Ten A Metal With A Scottish Flavor

Another Band That Should Be On Top

Drowned Ten is a Scottish Heavy Metal band that got something unique ! The band itself consist of  Chris Ten, Radu Spinache and Rogerio Dos Reli Rios. The released their 
Debut album 'Stand' in February 24 and they hope it goes as good as it can ! The thirteen track long album is heavily inspired by artist's Black label Society and Black Sabbath. Singles from late 2016 are featured on this album, such as, The abyss and Ultrasonic brew.Stand is available on Spotify, Deezer, I tunes, apple music and many more online stores Click here to listen now . As they say about the album they have inspired by black Sabbath and Bls but I would characterize them as a heavy metal band that just started making their history . Megadeth Working On New Ideas For New Album

I Did Not Expect Anything Less From Them

Megadeth must be really happy lately ! They won their first Grammy award in the "Best Metal Performance" category for the first time in their 12 tries that they are nominated ! The winner album was Dystopia ,their latest album ! In 2016, Megadeth released Dystopia, which was arguably one of the best albums in its discography, and was largely written by Dave Mustaine. The exceptions to that latter statement being tracks 6 through 8, which were co-written by new guitarist Kiko Loureiro (Angra). So it seems like with new blood on the team the new album is going to be kind of awesome and unique . I refer to new Megadeth legendary drummer Dirk Verbeuren (ex-Soilwork,  The Project Hate MCMXCIX) As Dave Mustaine stated :

What we’re looking at, we’re trying to start the songwriting process this year while we’re out on the road, which will be good for us to start putting pen to paper and writing stuff. Kiko and I have actually been talking a lot about it the last couple weeks, sending files back and forth and so on and so forth, which is exciting for me because that’s what makes me tick is writing music. When I see new files coming back and forth through my email it’s like, “Yes.” It’s like Christmas.”

So it seems like new Megadeth material is going to be happening .Although we don't know if Dave is going to have a good relationship though time with the new members but if Kiko and Dirk Verbeuren manage to agree with Mustaine the next album is going to be really heavy and really epic!

Corey Tailor About Metallica Grammys Apperance

Corey Hits Again

Corey says that Metallica was "disrespected" due to the mic failure! As you remember Metallica appearance at the Grammys featuring Lady Gaga had a terrible accident as a Grammys technician forgot to open James mic in order for the first verse of the song there was no sound!

Corey Said :
"I feel bad for METALLICA. Honestly, because at this point in their career they shouldn't have been disrespected like that. The fact that… They shut [Hetfield's microphone] off. METALLICA doesn't have control of that."

He continued: "The thing that people have to remember... I'm gonna give you a little background. All of METALLICA's people are not allowed to work on live performances on television. None of us are. They have a sound producer and a whole crew of people who work on those shows, and then your people work right behind them, all right? But you're not allowed to touch anything, which is horseshit, because stuff like this then happens. The fact that then they weren't introduced? It was just, 'Oh, here's Lady Gaga…' Oh, by the way, she's fucking with METALLICA, you dick."

Taylor added: "I have a lot of very strong opinions about the Grammys anyway, [but] that really cemented it for me. We don't need your respect. We don't need you to make us feel like we accomplished something, 'cause all you do is open our mouths and shit in it, and I'm tired of tastin' it. So, fuck you, dude. And by the way, I've won one, so it's not a big deal. They don't even really listen to this shit. They go, 'Oh, I recognize that name. There you go.'"
