Ghost To Record New "Darker" Album This Summer And Papa Firing All Members

After their successful single Square Hammer (a mastepiece in my opinion) and a Grammy in their collection Ghost are heading all the way to a new album . This new album will have a darker sound as Papa Emeritus IV stated . He also said that the band will work on new album this summer! In a new interview with Metal Wani, frontman Tobias Forge said :

"The ideas for the new record will be quote-unquote darker, because it's thematically set in a different… in a darker setting. Meliora was supposed to reflect some sort of utopia/dystopia in the modern society, whereas this new one is gonna be a little bit more apocalyptic, a little bit more back to the medieval times, which, obviously, is associated with darkness. "

He continued: "Obviously, in metal, in extreme metal, you have a myriad of records that are thematically in the Middle Ages, but the idea for this new album is to combine… So where [other] records [covering similar lyrical themes are] drowned and surrounded and drenched in death, it's gonna be a record about survival. So that constantly working with those polar, sort of, elements is also a difference, I guess, between… If you find a black metal record that is about the Plague and the death, you will have only death — everything is just black and everything just ends black. Whereas one of my driving forces writing a record like that is to write a record about the survival of that and the prosperity."

"It's gonna be a darker record. Is it gonna be all through and through heavier? I don't know, obviously. But we do have melody and we do have songs that are not so heavy. From my point of view, from where I'm sitting, knowing a little bit of the material coming in, it's gonna be both. It's gonna have everything from heavy, crushing metal to big, ballady anthems."

Another thing that he said that confused me and got me little angry is that we will fire all member and he will bring a new lineup in the Ghost ! Why??? Being in a band like ghost is a dream even wearing a mask! I don't really can say why but he says that by the time the were mask it not going to be so different .

He said (via Metal Sucks): "From a practical point of view, you're interested in, on the one hand, preserving the sound, or the elements that make up the sound, and you still wanna progress. I think one of the secrets behind our preserving ability is the fact that we don't necessarily have to have the same six people in the room to make that sound, which helps.

"It's always a blessing and a curse when you have some of these classic bands over the course of rock and roll history, where in order for them to sound like that exact band, you need those four individuals, and if one is missing, it does not sound like that.

"And, fortunately, we don't have that problem.
"Because performing Ghost and recording Ghost has never really been the same thing. So that we can preserve our sound; we don't have to rely on... if some people come and go, which is good.

"Queens of the Stone Age is the same thing. Everything goes through Josh's hands, and therefore it sounds like Queens of the Stone Age, regardless of who he brings in and out of the band, which is, I guess, a similar situation."

The only thing positive thing that I can think about that is the new member will bring new ideas and sounds with them but we don't really know if these ideas at going to be any good for the band!

Body Count Releases 'No Lives Matter' Music Video

Finally

Finally after all those post about the new album the video for "No Lives Matter " (Video Down Below) is ready and the song itself is awesome . Body Count really know what they are doing .

Ice-T recently told Revolver magazine about "Bloodlust":

"Making records is a very interesting process. You work really hard on something and finish it and then you'll be, like, 'Yo, that sounds like somebody else's record.' Or, 'Hey, didn't we just make that record three days ago?'

"One time we did two songs in a row and afterwards I looked at them and said, 'That's the same riff in each song.' So we had to pick one. But in the end, we came up with some very aggressive and cool music."

He added:

"I like to start with hot metal tracks that you can listen to without a word on them and go, 'Wow, that was just like fire!’ The music tells me what the song is about, and that's when the words start coming to me. Then it's up to me not to fuck it up."

As for the choice of album title, Ice-T said:

"Bloodlust is part of the human makeup. Murder is about as normal as love. It's in our nature to want to get violent and kill, but we know there are consequences. That's why we like violent movies, video games and combat sports. It's in our DNA. It's what we are."

Linkin Park New Song And New Album In May

Its Been Two Years

Its been two years since we saw Linkin Park material at all with their last album being "The Hunting Party" in 2014 . The band released yesterday a new song taken from the new album with the name "Heavy" featuring Kiiara (Video Down Below) . Lets take a minute here to talk about the new song ! I heard all this dislike by the rock and metal world about what the new song sounds like . It seems like the band has take a great turn to their music and make a little popish and house  in this new song and the world has paralyzed. Why?? I don't know why ! The band the last few years wasn't so nu metal that it was 10-15 years ago ! If you listened the last album you would have seen this coming ! Despite the fact that everyone who listened the band is now really confused the song is really nice with beautiful vocals and nice music . The thing we don't know yet is what the rest of the album would sound like! Its a change they wanted to make so you just support them or not ! So the new album with the name " One More Light " will be released on May 19 via Warner Bros and is available now for pre-order. My opinion is that you have to give them your support!
Frontman Chester Bennington said:
“There are songs that don’t specifically talk about situations – they talk about a frame of thinking.

“This is shit that’s gone on inside my head, or this is something I’m dealing with. To me it tells a story but it’s also revealing as well in a different way – and that feels honest to me.

“People ask me, ‘You guys are in the studio, right? What’s it like?’ I’m like, ‘Well, we’re just focused on writing really great songs that mean something to people.

“We’re trying to connect with people. We’re trying to make a record that has fucking stellar songs that people want to listen to all the time.”

Arch Enemy Are In The Studio

Arch Enemy is a great metal band that's well known . Their last album was War Eternal . So now Michael Amott(Guitarist) shares with his fans the fact that a new album will be dropped mybe in September and that they are in the studio right now . Arch Enemy was already a good band and with Jeff Loomis joining them last year that means that this album is going to be epic . No more infos though like the name or anything but we just have to wait .

Corey Tailor: Stone Sour album is “coolest” since Slipknot’s debut

New Album Is Coming In Hot

We shares a few times the news that after Slipknot new album its now Stone Sour time to have a new album . We also shared that Stone Sour officialy confirm new album with the name "Hydrograd" due to this summer . So now Corey comes to shares even more info about the new album . He says BBC Rock Show with Daniel P Carter:

“We’re almost done with the album. We hit the ground, basically finishing a song a day. We started in the studio on January 7 and we have 16 songs done – we only have three left. It’s unbelievable. We’ve only really taken time off because we needed to.

“We just destroyed it and it sounds incredible. Everyone is saying the same thing – not only are the songs good, but the energy is incredible because it has that live vibe. This is not beat-detected, auto-tuned or pitch-corrected. It’s so bad ass it’s not even funny."

“We have six singles on this album. I’m really excited – this album is great because it’s got elements of everything. It’s got the heavy energy of the 80s, there’s punk moments, there’s hard rock moments – all the great amalgam of music.

“There’s even jazz and hip-hop moments, it’s really, really cool. It’s probably the coolest album I’ve made since the first Slipknot album. I feel very confident making that statement because it’s so good.”

The album expecting to be released due to this summer but its not yet official so we just have to wait!

Slipknot Will Work On New Material The Same Time Corey Does Stone Sour

Corey Is The Center Of Attention

Being in two successful bands make you spilt in half beacuase you have double interviews double gigs and a lot of things double . So you understand how Corey Taylor feels when he has to do both Slipknot and Stone Sour stuff!Stone Sour officially confirm new album with the name "Hydrograd" due to this summer . So Slipknot things will be a little difficult to happen . Although Mick Thomson said in an interview with Backstage Axxess  it's only one man's opinion and general outlook on the future of the band . He said :

"We just finished… We spent a long time… well, a couple of years touring, but then there was a whole year before that of writing and recording and all that shit. So we have a little break right now. I think Corey's out doing his own stuff. Or if he isn't, he's about to be. So we're gonna work on writing some shit, and we'll be probably back out on the road after we do another record."

So its a long way till we see new Slipknot material anytime soon !

Last Nights Metallica Accident With Lady Gaga

I Couldn't Stop My Self From Laughting

Metallica wasn't so lucky last night as Megadeth was. Metallica have done so many concerts thought the years that you could not count . Its pretty reasonable that the band would have a lot of technical issues these years like guitars and mics broke but their technician always had their back . Last night at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards Metallica wasn't so lucky (Video Down Below) . The was suppose to perform Moth Into Flame featuring Lady Gaga as you may know (Read More Here) . When the song starts everything is ok guitar, drums , bass everything sounded good but then when James start singing  no voice was coming although Lady's microphone was ok . It seems like Grammys technician don't know of what real singing means so they forgot to turn on James microphone . As you can see at the end of the video James was really pissed off , who woudn't ? They prepared something special for Grammy's and they wanted it to be perfect . Its just stupid to forget to open a mic its your job man . They make it work in the first chorus by sharing 1 microphone with the Lady .Also in true metal spirit Lady did a stage dive, I loved it. Their overall performance with the Lady was awesome she nailed the song . She even got a temporary tattoo on her back with the Handwired logo. The fact that the microphone was on from the second verse and then didn't cool James Temper though. As you can see at the end of the video as he kicks his mic and throw his guitar in one of his technician! Ok its a big live event I know it . Yeah its difficult to have everything perfect I know that too . But these two accidents last night show that the Grammys don't really care about metal and rock so much . The first mistake with Megadeth (Read More Here) and then with Metallica its just so embarrassing and stupid but I admit that these both made me laugh .

Megadeth Just Won Best Metal Award At The Grammys, Master Of Puppets Played On The Accept Of The Award

I Think It Was Just Fair

And the "Best Metal Performance" award goes to ...... MEGADETH . It seems like Dystopia won Handwired To Self Destruct this year on the 59th annual Grammy Awards . The band won the other nominees which were :

Baroness – "Shock Me"
Gojira – "Silvera"
Korn – “Rotting In Vain”
Megadeth – "Dystopia"
Periphery – "The Price Is Wrong

Megadeth ended up winning the award and Dave Mustaine joked it only took them 12 tries . While they accepting the award some mistaken have put "Master Of Puppets " song on the background . Someone really wanted to piss off Mustaine hahaha!!If you watch the other nominees its fair that Megadeth got this one!

The Dillinger Escape Plan Involve In Tour Bus Accident

These Things Shouldn't Be Happening

Its not so long ago that another tour bus and more particular THE GHOST INSIDE bus 2 years ago  . This bus crashed was a serious one without any of the band member luckily survive but the bus driver tragically get killed . Although the band survived the had some serious injuries that include their drummer Andrew Tkaczyk without a leg, and guitarist Zach Johnson without two toes, and frontman Jonathan Vigil with two broke ankles and endless bone infections. Also that's the way one of the best drummers ever got killed Cliff Burton . A few hours ago while the band was traveling across the Europe for their tour they got rammed by a truck . The accident happened when they were on the way to Krakow. A police spokeswoman states that a truck rammed into the band’s bus while it was parked. The collision caused the members and guests to be rushed to the hospital to be checked out . The result was 13 people taken to hospital mostly for tests but as we know no deaths so that's sounds relieving . Metal Injection has communicate with the band and the band explained that the bus was hit from the back, with the truck smashing through their gear before continuing to plow into the bus itself. The impact was serious and banged them up pretty good. The whole situation sounds horrific. Also Metal Injection has published a picture that shows the bus after the crash !

As you can se most of the band equipment has been destroys so obviously tonight's show in Krakow has been canceled but no word yet yet about the rest of the tour .
Explaining the decision, Guitarist Ben Weinman said: “I think in some ways we wanted to pull a Seinfeld – we didn’t want to get to the point where we’re stopping because we have to, because we’re old or people are kind of over it.
“I feel way more empowered in making hard decisions. I don’t like the idea of slowing down or doing it less often. I like to just dive in full-force and take things to the extreme, because that’s what this band has always been about.”
Lets hope that things like this will never happen again!

DIMMU BORGIR Is In The Studio Officially

Good News For Fans

Dimmu Borgir last album was Abrahadabra back in 2010 and since then just touring . The band promised in 2015 that there will be a new album in 2016 but the year passed and we seen nothing . In 2016 they again promised there will be a new album in 2017 but this time their promise was true .They posted a photo in their facebook account where they record stuffs in the studio ! Good new for their fans
since they last material was 7 years ago
