Robert Trujilo 12 Years Old Son Playing Bass For Korn

Like Father Like Son

If you are into metal news and metal music situation you sure have heard that Metallica's bassist Robert Trujilo 12 years old son Tye will play bass in the upcoming Korn tour. Korn have released official footage from their first show with 12-year-old Tye Trujillo on bass.The son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo has been brought into the lineup in place of Fieldy for the band’s run of South American dates in support of latest album The Serenity Of Suffering. Introducing Tye last week, Korn said:

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Fieldy is unable to make the shows so the band will be joined by a special guest. Filling in for bass duties will be Tye Trujillo – the 12-year old son of Metallica’s Robert Trujillo and member of NorCal group The Helmets.
“We are bummed Fieldy can’t join us on this run but excited to do a few gigs with a young player like Tye.
“We look forward to welcoming our brother Fieldy back when we return to the States in May."

Anthrax Ready To Play More "Big Four" Shows

Its Been Years Since The Last Concerts

Its been years since the last Big Four concerts ! As you may already know Big Four are the greatest metal bands as they consider by the world . Its consists of Metallica , Megadeth , Anthrax and Slayer . In fact I believe that these are the best metal bands not only because of their music but because they helped a lot the metal music genre being what it is ! So now Anthrax Frank Bello says that Anthrax "would love" to play more shows featuring the so-called "Big Four" of 1980s thrash metal.  Speaking to KNAC.COM he says :

"Talk to Metallica . We're ready. All the other bands that were involved will tell you it was one of the best things that ever happened for them. Just the camaraderie, and for the fans, that was a good value for your buck to see the four bands that grew up together in the scene. I think that was a great idea by Metallica . We're all friends and we all get along really well, I think Metallica  knows that we would all be in on it again because it was such a great experience. So many people are asking for it and every interview asks about it. They want to see it and we'd love to be part of it. "

Oh men a Big Four concert would be one of the best experience of my life . I would love to see all those great bands again together in 1 show and I think most of us would love to!

Corey Tailor About Metallica Grammys Apperance

Corey Hits Again

Corey says that Metallica was "disrespected" due to the mic failure! As you remember Metallica appearance at the Grammys featuring Lady Gaga had a terrible accident as a Grammys technician forgot to open James mic in order for the first verse of the song there was no sound!

Corey Said :
"I feel bad for METALLICA. Honestly, because at this point in their career they shouldn't have been disrespected like that. The fact that… They shut [Hetfield's microphone] off. METALLICA doesn't have control of that."

He continued: "The thing that people have to remember... I'm gonna give you a little background. All of METALLICA's people are not allowed to work on live performances on television. None of us are. They have a sound producer and a whole crew of people who work on those shows, and then your people work right behind them, all right? But you're not allowed to touch anything, which is horseshit, because stuff like this then happens. The fact that then they weren't introduced? It was just, 'Oh, here's Lady Gaga…' Oh, by the way, she's fucking with METALLICA, you dick."

Taylor added: "I have a lot of very strong opinions about the Grammys anyway, [but] that really cemented it for me. We don't need your respect. We don't need you to make us feel like we accomplished something, 'cause all you do is open our mouths and shit in it, and I'm tired of tastin' it. So, fuck you, dude. And by the way, I've won one, so it's not a big deal. They don't even really listen to this shit. They go, 'Oh, I recognize that name. There you go.'"

Last Nights Metallica Accident With Lady Gaga

I Couldn't Stop My Self From Laughting

Metallica wasn't so lucky last night as Megadeth was. Metallica have done so many concerts thought the years that you could not count . Its pretty reasonable that the band would have a lot of technical issues these years like guitars and mics broke but their technician always had their back . Last night at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards Metallica wasn't so lucky (Video Down Below) . The was suppose to perform Moth Into Flame featuring Lady Gaga as you may know (Read More Here) . When the song starts everything is ok guitar, drums , bass everything sounded good but then when James start singing  no voice was coming although Lady's microphone was ok . It seems like Grammys technician don't know of what real singing means so they forgot to turn on James microphone . As you can see at the end of the video James was really pissed off , who woudn't ? They prepared something special for Grammy's and they wanted it to be perfect . Its just stupid to forget to open a mic its your job man . They make it work in the first chorus by sharing 1 microphone with the Lady .Also in true metal spirit Lady did a stage dive, I loved it. Their overall performance with the Lady was awesome she nailed the song . She even got a temporary tattoo on her back with the Handwired logo. The fact that the microphone was on from the second verse and then didn't cool James Temper though. As you can see at the end of the video as he kicks his mic and throw his guitar in one of his technician! Ok its a big live event I know it . Yeah its difficult to have everything perfect I know that too . But these two accidents last night show that the Grammys don't really care about metal and rock so much . The first mistake with Megadeth (Read More Here) and then with Metallica its just so embarrassing and stupid but I admit that these both made me laugh .
