Megadeth Working On New Ideas For New Album

I Did Not Expect Anything Less From Them

Megadeth must be really happy lately ! They won their first Grammy award in the "Best Metal Performance" category for the first time in their 12 tries that they are nominated ! The winner album was Dystopia ,their latest album ! In 2016, Megadeth released Dystopia, which was arguably one of the best albums in its discography, and was largely written by Dave Mustaine. The exceptions to that latter statement being tracks 6 through 8, which were co-written by new guitarist Kiko Loureiro (Angra). So it seems like with new blood on the team the new album is going to be kind of awesome and unique . I refer to new Megadeth legendary drummer Dirk Verbeuren (ex-Soilwork,  The Project Hate MCMXCIX) As Dave Mustaine stated :

What we’re looking at, we’re trying to start the songwriting process this year while we’re out on the road, which will be good for us to start putting pen to paper and writing stuff. Kiko and I have actually been talking a lot about it the last couple weeks, sending files back and forth and so on and so forth, which is exciting for me because that’s what makes me tick is writing music. When I see new files coming back and forth through my email it’s like, “Yes.” It’s like Christmas.”

So it seems like new Megadeth material is going to be happening .Although we don't know if Dave is going to have a good relationship though time with the new members but if Kiko and Dirk Verbeuren manage to agree with Mustaine the next album is going to be really heavy and really epic!

Ghost To Record New "Darker" Album This Summer And Papa Firing All Members

GHOST New Lineup

After their successful single Square Hammer (a mastepiece in my opinion) and a Grammy in their collection Ghost are heading all the way to a new album . This new album will have a darker sound as Papa Emeritus IV stated . He also said that the band will work on new album this summer! In a new interview with Metal Wani, frontman Tobias Forge said :

"The ideas for the new record will be quote-unquote darker, because it's thematically set in a different… in a darker setting. Meliora was supposed to reflect some sort of utopia/dystopia in the modern society, whereas this new one is gonna be a little bit more apocalyptic, a little bit more back to the medieval times, which, obviously, is associated with darkness. "

He continued: "Obviously, in metal, in extreme metal, you have a myriad of records that are thematically in the Middle Ages, but the idea for this new album is to combine… So where [other] records [covering similar lyrical themes are] drowned and surrounded and drenched in death, it's gonna be a record about survival. So that constantly working with those polar, sort of, elements is also a difference, I guess, between… If you find a black metal record that is about the Plague and the death, you will have only death — everything is just black and everything just ends black. Whereas one of my driving forces writing a record like that is to write a record about the survival of that and the prosperity."

"It's gonna be a darker record. Is it gonna be all through and through heavier? I don't know, obviously. But we do have melody and we do have songs that are not so heavy. From my point of view, from where I'm sitting, knowing a little bit of the material coming in, it's gonna be both. It's gonna have everything from heavy, crushing metal to big, ballady anthems."

Another thing that he said that confused me and got me little angry is that we will fire all member and he will bring a new lineup in the Ghost ! Why??? Being in a band like ghost is a dream even wearing a mask! I don't really can say why but he says that by the time the were mask it not going to be so different .

He said (via Metal Sucks): "From a practical point of view, you're interested in, on the one hand, preserving the sound, or the elements that make up the sound, and you still wanna progress. I think one of the secrets behind our preserving ability is the fact that we don't necessarily have to have the same six people in the room to make that sound, which helps.

"It's always a blessing and a curse when you have some of these classic bands over the course of rock and roll history, where in order for them to sound like that exact band, you need those four individuals, and if one is missing, it does not sound like that.

"And, fortunately, we don't have that problem.
"Because performing Ghost and recording Ghost has never really been the same thing. So that we can preserve our sound; we don't have to rely on... if some people come and go, which is good.

"Queens of the Stone Age is the same thing. Everything goes through Josh's hands, and therefore it sounds like Queens of the Stone Age, regardless of who he brings in and out of the band, which is, I guess, a similar situation."

The only thing positive thing that I can think about that is the new member will bring new ideas and sounds with them but we don't really know if these ideas at going to be any good for the band!

Mastodon Just Upload A New Song

What Happened To Them

The days are passing by and January just ended that means that we are coming closer to 31 March . What will happen then I hear you ask? New Mastodon album Emperor Of Sand of course . I love this band . It suprises me  everytime but in a good way . The band has just upload a new song with the name "Show Yourself" . The thing is that I never heard anything like this from the band . It sounds like the song is taken from another band . The song is very rock/sludge/psychedelic but in the good way I love the change they make and it seems like the new album is going to be legendary . Hear for your self .

We Have Something Perfect Here

Its finally here . The first song of the new Mastodon album is here and its perfect(Video Down Below) . The song name is Sultan's Curse and its the first song of the new album that is they will release 31 March via Reprise Records . The song is a masterpiece heavy with a lot of nice riffs and a new kind of tone.This got me waiting so badly for the new album to released that I think of buying the Vinyl collection that they offer with the preorder. Also the band yesterday upload the part 1 of the "making the Emperor Of Sand " Talking about the song and what the lyrics really mean and what they do when writing new music , their thoughts!! I don't want to spoil something here so you can see for yourself!

Ghost New Album Will Be Darker Than Meliora Was

As you may know Ghost are working on a new album which they want to be ready this fall . Also the band has an upcoming tour with Iron Maiden this year . So about the album now. A nameless ghoul was interviewed by Loudwire and was asked a lot of questions about the upcoming album . So the Ghoul answered :

"Let’s just say that it’s a continuation of Meliora, but it’s sort of a response. I’ve used the word “pre-apocalyptic” on Meliora. It’s sort of the hide of civilization. It’s the symbolism, just look at the cover. It’s sky risers, everything. You don’t even see the ground. It’s all covered and built material. Obviously there has to be an end to that. So there will be a call and response. The next album will be the response to that. So if there was an absence of a God, there might be a return of a deity, which usually comes in horrible forms. So it will be a darker album."

So Ghoul explain us that is going to be a dark album and also explain us what is the album is about. But not much details though.

Finally New Mastodon Album Release Date Details , Name And Artwork

Finally We Got The Infos

Yeah finally Mastodon's boys gave us what we were waiting for some details about their new album . As a hardcore Mastodon fan I heard the news about the new album and I had gone crazy . The one thing I didn't expect though is the album to finish so quickly . After the four videos that they streamed on youtube and the post I make about them the hope begin to grow on me . So today I learnt the big news . We got the artwork of the album with a piece of music they dropped in a link (http://eos360.mastodonrocks.com/) . The band has officially confirmed that the album title is "Emperor of Sand." Release date is March 31 via Reprise, track listing below. The song that was teased is the opening track "Sultan's Curse," you can purchase it via iTunes. As it often goes, the tune has leaked, in lower quality, google it if you're up for it. The lead single, "Sultan's Curse" is expected to surface tomorrow, January 27th. And, the album art has also been revealed .We also got the tracklist :

Oh men the tone sounds so sick and it sound like something totally new from them . From they day they evolve and you can see this buy listening to their album "Once More Around The Sun" was by me their best album so this might be even better. I don't know I am loosing my mind . Its only 2 month they will pass.
