Mastodon Releases Another Album In Septmber

Its Something We All Forgot

I think most of us loved the last Mastodon Album "Emperor Of Sand" but something we all forgot is that Mastodon where reportedly was making another album and it would be Brent Hinds solo album. Guitarist and vocalist Brent Hinds said Cold Dark Place would become his solo album and it would be released in July, which clearly it hadn't.All we know is that the album was written by Hinds, that it was about a "nasty breakup," and that it's a "pretty dark, beautiful, spooky, funky, ethereal, melancholy music, which also sounds like the Bee Gees a little bit." Oh, did we mention that it's probably coming out as a Mastodon album on September 22? While there's been no official announcement, a listing for the album has appeared on Amazon UK, and Hinds posted the very same artwork to his Instagram as well. So it seems safe to say that Cold Dark Place is real, though no word on if it's an EP or LP.

Paul McCartney Will Guest on Foo Fighters’ ‘Concrete and Gold,’

Concrete And Gold Seems To Be A Masterpiece

I have write about new Foo Fighters album many times so far . I also was there in the band's concert here in greece where they played "Arrows" for the first time (Click Here For More). Also a few months back when Dave Grohl asked about the new album he answered that 

“There’s one [guest] who is probably the biggest pop star in the world. He or she sings backup on one of the heaviest songs on the record. And we’re not telling anybody who it is” and added that that person was someone who had been around for a while

Well, it turns out that McCartney is on the upcoming Foo Fighters disc Concrete and Gold, but is not the mystery pop star that Grohl has been teasing.

Speaking with ET Canada, Grohl confirmed McCartney’s appearance, revealing that the legendary Beatles singer-bassist actually sits in behind the drum kit. 

“Paul McCartney plays drums on one of our songs. He’s a pal. We’ve known him for a long time. He’s great. He’s the most wonderful person in the world. He’s a great guy,” Grohl said.“He hadn’t even heard of the song. He comes in and Dave picked up an acoustic and showed him real quick. He sat on his special drum set that his tech set up for him. I sat there with a drumstick conducting. He did two takes,” adds drummer Taylor Hawkins.

We still dont know who the pop star is but something is telling me that we will find out soon but anyway the new album is only a month ahead! Thanks For Reading And Please Like My Facebook Page! :-)

Trivium New Song Is Finally Here !!!

Guess What!

If you follow the Trivium Instagram/Facebook page you will notice that the band started teasing  something that we didnt really knew what it was !! A new song ? A new album ? No one was really knew what that video was . Now the band dropped new song with the name "The Sin And The Sentence." The song nails it . It brings some of the old band's glory but in a new different and beauiful way . I fucking loved it already !! Take a listen to your self. We dont have any news at all about a new album but Trivium never make single songs !

Chester's Bennington Cause Of Death

Its Official

We were all really shocked when the news that Linkin's Park Chester Bennington commited suicide . Its such a shame cause he was only 41 and he had kids that he left them! After a few day has now been confirmed by the Los Angeles County Department Medical Examiner – Coroner in a newly released document on the office’s website. that he commited suicide .

Dr. Christopher Rogers and investigator Nani Cholakians are both named on the report, which also listed no other significant causes regarding Bennington’s death and that the case is closed. No toxicology report has been carried out as of yet and other reports have indicated that a partially drunk bottle of alcohol was in the room that the singer had died in.

Bennington was found dead by an employee at his Palos Verdes Estates home around 9AM PT on Thursday (July 20) morning. An undisclosed bandmate was en route to bring Bennington to a scheduled photo shoot and arrived as police were on the scene. Linkin Park were also scheduled to launch their North American tour on July 27, which has now officially been canceled.

Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington dead at 41!

Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington dead at 41 Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has died at the age of 41, it's been reported.

TMZ say that the singer was found dead at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estate in Los Angeles at 9am local time. It’s been reported that he hanged himself. The BBC say the news of Bennington's death was confirmed by the LA County Coroner.

Bennington's Linkin Park band mate Mike Shinoda has now spoken via Twitter, saying: “Shocked and heartbroken, but it's true. An official statement will come out as soon as we have one.”

Bennington played in several bands in the 90s but it was Linkin Park’s 2000 debut albumHybrid Theory that catapulted him and his band mates into the limelight, with the record peaking at no.2 on the Billboard 200.

Linkin Park went on to release six more studio albums, their latest being One More Light which arrived in May this year.

Bennington also sang with Stone Temple Pilots and appeared on 2013 EP High Rise. He left the band amicably in 2015 to concentrate on his work with Linkin Park.

Bennington’s death comes on what would have been late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell’s birthday. Cornell died by suicide in May, with Bennington writing a heartfelt tribute to his friend shortly after the news broke. 

Lets wish strengh and courage to his family and hope things like this never happen again!

What Is Like To Watch Foo Fighters In An Ancient Theater Part 2.

Inside The Theatre During The Concert

Monday 10th of July . The day of that we were going to see Foo Fighters in Greece for the first time has come . The time is 18:00 and the place is outside the theatre . The doors were opening 18:45 so we got there earlier in order to find ourself some good seats in the middle. The security was pretty tight and i think the reason was the ancient theatre . The place had like 50 security personel . The security was so tight there is no chance of someone could pass the security without a ticket . The checked our ticket like four times and we even got to pass a metal detector . After waiting 2 hours outside the theatre listening to the bands souncheck we got ourselfs inside . We waited there for like an hour waiting for everyone to get inside . The technicals make the last preparations checking that everything was working properly . The time has come but there was a surprise waiting for us ! RHCP Chad Smith was there too .

He presented the band as part of the documentary . That was a nice suprise !! The next thing we realized is that we were in one of the bands best experience ever and the fact you dthat there were limited seats only make it better.Although i really feel sorry for those who didnt make it to the concert . After Chad presented the band Dave Grohl shows up in the stage alone with his guitar . He started playing some chord and he make a speech about its time like these that make everything special and then the whole band shows and the started playing times like these . And because sometimes words cannot describe the whole experience ... 

The rest of the concert is history and cannot described with words but with videos .The band even played a new song of the upcoming album called Arrow which was the first ever live performance of the song. I shot parts of each song . The reason is that i wanted to enjoy the concert more than filming it cause i wanted to live this whole thing but i got more that half of the songs on videos . In case you want to see the whole thing the January the documentary is being released so only thing you have to do is be patience. Enjoy !

On Monday i was in Athens Greece for a very particular reason. The reason was a rock but not just any rock it was Foo Fighters . The band that Dave Ghrohl himself built from the start an keeping it till today . But if you think that was just another Foo Fighters concert you just way off . This was a mastepiece and i right for so you get a taste of what is like to watch a rock band in an nearly 2000 years old theater ! The reason this happened is due a documentary that is currently being film which is called Landmarks Live In Concert  A new TV Series hosted by Chad Smith featuring well known bands and artists performing at some of the world's biggest Landmarks. Airing on PBS in January 2017. The episodes of the series will feature well know bands in world famous landmarks . So whats better that Herodes Atticus Theatre a theatre that was opened in 161 AD

. But here in Greece we usually have a problem with bureaucracy and it took like forever for the competent body to decide if it would be ok for a theatre like this to host a rock concert cause the theatre had so far host only ancient tragedies and symponick orchestras . After a month or two since the first announcement and the disappointment of the fans that didnt think something like this would ever happen in a place like this the band come with a post that got the green light and the concer would really happen !! We all was like "wtf is this really happening?" . But because of the invitation to the mayor and other formal characters and the limited numbers of seats (Its theatre not a stadium ) there were limited tickets for us . So in order to get one you have been really lucky . So i was . I manage to book 2 tickets with a friend of mine and got the lucky ticket !! I am making more than 1 parts cause i have a lot to write about my experience . To be continued...

Foo Fighters Debut New Song ‘Dirty Water’

It Sounds Really Beautiful 

As you may know Foo Foghters are in Europe and they do gigs . Some of those are a part of a documentary starring RHCP Chad Smith that will be released later this year . This documentary is called Landmarks Live In Concert . The band will be hopping over to the Greek capital Athens to perform on the historical landmark this month.The thing is that i am going to see them live here in Greece and i feel fucking lucky about it ! So now to the new song. Last night Foo Fighters held a show at AccorHotels Arena in Paris.The French audience was treated to the live debut performance of a song from the band’s upcoming new studio album Concrete & Gold.  Foo Fighters offered their first live performance of “Dirty Water,” which is one of 11 new songs on the band’s forthcoming LP Concrete & Gold coming out on September 15.  The song is a classic Foo Fighters song which we love . No more to say listen to your self !

Ghost New Album Will Be More Apocalyptic Than Meliora

 Papa Emeritus Reports 

After all the things that happened to Ghost the last few months Papa Emeritus and the new Ghost lineup are preparing for a new album .  In an interview with the Albuquerque Journal disguised as a Nameless Ghoul, Forge gave a hint of what fans could expect from their as-yet-untitled next album and gave some insight into the writing process.

Forge says: “Having in mind that the previous record was about the absence of God or the absence of deities, this new one is going to be about the return of God.

“You know, God’s wrath cast upon the suffering humans. So it will be a little bit more biblical in that sense which in turn makes it darker, a little bit more apocalyptic, I think. That’s basically what I can tell you about it right now.”

He says that he’s constantly working on material which has been around for up to 10 years and likes to incorporate new ideas – with any tracks not suitable for what will be the band’s fourth full-length studio album already planned for their fifth record.

Forge adds: “It’s a pick and mix of a lot of different ideas and stuff laying around – a lot of new stuff being added to the pile.

“It’s a constant thinking ahead, and now, I’m thinking about album no. 5, because there are songs coming out now or being written that I feel won’t fit into the new album, so I’ll put that one onto the next one instead.”

Corey Taylor About New Sliknot Album

Something Violent...

As the time goes by for Corey Taylor and the bands he is into Slipknot and Stone Sour . As the new Stone Sour Album will be released in a few days he's got nothing to worry about . Now his thoughts about a new Slipknot album are getting bigger . So he recently interviewed by Metal Wani and he said :

“I know I want to write something violent, to be honest. I want to do something that feels uncomfortable. I want to go somewhere where we haven't been in a long, long time.“I don't know what that means, but I think when I hear it, I'll know what it is.”

Asked if he thought both Slipknot and Stone Sour had yet to create their best albums, Taylor went on to say: 

“I think if you consider the best of your past to be the best, then you're just constantly chasing it."So, for me, it's not necessarily about what's best, it's about what's next. I think when you look at it that way, you're constantly challenging yourself.“You're not trying to top yourself, you're just trying to find that open ground that you haven't stepped before That's what it comes down to. I think maybe that's the secret – that you can't look at things as trying to top your best because who knows when your best is going to come out.”

Foo Fighters Announce New Album +Artwork

Thats Some Good News 

Foo Fighters have just announce that they will release their new 11-track album with the name Concrete And Gold in September.Earlier this month they released a video for new track Run(Video Down Below) – now they’ve given details on the follow-up to 2014’s Sonic Highways. And the 11-track record will launch on September 15 via Columbia Records.Foo Fighters’ leader Dave Grohl says of the new album:

“I wanted it to be the biggest sounding Foo Fighters record ever. To make a gigantic rock record but with producer Greg Kurstin’s sense of melody and arrangement. Motorhead’s version of Sgt. Pepper… or something like that.”Concrete And Gold is said to marry “some of the most insanely heavy Foo Fighters riffs ever with lush harmonic complexities.”

In other news Dave Grohl’s 8-year-old daughter Harper joins Foo Fighters onstage in Iceland to play drums on cover of Queen classic We Will Rock You. Introducing the youngster, Grohl tells the crowd: 

“About two weeks ago my daughter said, ‘Dad, I want to play the drums.’ I said, ‘OK, you want me to teach you?’ She said, ‘Yes.’“And I said, ‘Do you want to get up in front of 20,000 people in Iceland and play?’ She said, ‘Yes.’"

Harper then takes over the drum stool from Taylor Hawkins and leads the band into a cover of Queen classic We Will Rock You. At the end of the song, Hawkins tells the crowd: “My days are numbered.”

Finally 

After 3 years finally Queens Of The Stone Age released new music . I love them and their music you know . Since the last album ...Like Clockwork which was the sixth album by the band we havent heard something new since! Now the time has come and the band is really closes releasing one mastepiece (i hope) as the used to . Yesterday i shared with you some informations that came by a teaser the band upload on youtube of which we learnt the bans's new album will be called Villains . Today the band upload the first song of the new album (Video Down Below) with the name The Way You Used To Do which is quite nice in my opinion . We also got the artwork of the new album .
