Inside The Theatre During The Concert

Monday 10th of July . The day of that we were going to see Foo Fighters in Greece for the first time has come . The time is 18:00 and the place is outside the theatre . The doors were opening 18:45 so we got there earlier in order to find ourself some good seats in the middle. The security was pretty tight and i think the reason was the ancient theatre . The place had like 50 security personel . The security was so tight there is no chance of someone could pass the security without a ticket . The checked our ticket like four times and we even got to pass a metal detector . After waiting 2 hours outside the theatre listening to the bands souncheck we got ourselfs inside . We waited there for like an hour waiting for everyone to get inside . The technicals make the last preparations checking that everything was working properly . The time has come but there was a surprise waiting for us ! RHCP Chad Smith was there too .

He presented the band as part of the documentary . That was a nice suprise !! The next thing we realized is that we were in one of the bands best experience ever and the fact you dthat there were limited seats only make it better.Although i really feel sorry for those who didnt make it to the concert . After Chad presented the band Dave Grohl shows up in the stage alone with his guitar . He started playing some chord and he make a speech about its time like these that make everything special and then the whole band shows and the started playing times like these . And because sometimes words cannot describe the whole experience ... 

The rest of the concert is history and cannot described with words but with videos .The band even played a new song of the upcoming album called Arrow which was the first ever live performance of the song. I shot parts of each song . The reason is that i wanted to enjoy the concert more than filming it cause i wanted to live this whole thing but i got more that half of the songs on videos . In case you want to see the whole thing the January the documentary is being released so only thing you have to do is be patience. Enjoy !

Inside Herodes Atticus Theatre Before The Concert

On Monday i was in Athens Greece for a very particular reason. The reason was a rock but not just any rock it was Foo Fighters . The band that Dave Ghrohl himself built from the start an keeping it till today . But if you think that was just another Foo Fighters concert you just way off . This was a mastepiece and i right for so you get a taste of what is like to watch a rock band in an nearly 2000 years old theater ! The reason this happened is due a documentary that is currently being film which is called Landmarks Live In Concert  A new TV Series hosted by Chad Smith featuring well known bands and artists performing at some of the world's biggest Landmarks. Airing on PBS in January 2017. The episodes of the series will feature well know bands in world famous landmarks . So whats better that Herodes Atticus Theatre a theatre that was opened in 161 AD

The Magic Ticket

. But here in Greece we usually have a problem with bureaucracy and it took like forever for the competent body to decide if it would be ok for a theatre like this to host a rock concert cause the theatre had so far host only ancient tragedies and symponick orchestras . After a month or two since the first announcement and the disappointment of the fans that didnt think something like this would ever happen in a place like this the band come with a post that got the green light and the concer would really happen !! We all was like "wtf is this really happening?" . But because of the invitation to the mayor and other formal characters and the limited numbers of seats (Its theatre not a stadium ) there were limited tickets for us . So in order to get one you have been really lucky . So i was . I manage to book 2 tickets with a friend of mine and got the lucky ticket !! I am making more than 1 parts cause i have a lot to write about my experience . To be continued...
