Suicide Silence : Next Album Will Have 70% Clean Vocals

Its been two years since the bands last album "You Can't Stop Me" and we learned a month ago that the band will release a new one and Eddie Hermida(Bands Singer) have promised to make a statement about it the statement has come. (Full Interview Down Below)

Eddie tells AltPress :

"We decided as a band to do something way outside the spectrum of what Suicide Silence has done in the past. We wanted to maintain a heavy sound while exploring our love of music, and what came out surprised us 100%."

"Really, the biggest difference is that we stopped giving a fuck, and when you do that you feel free, and you learn who you really are."

Drummer Alex Lopez tells MetalShop TV:
"There’s clean vocals on 70% of the album. It's the first time he Eddie has been confident enough to do it. There's a lot of singing in it, there's a lot of screaming in it.It's called range, it's called dynamics. There's melody in it."

Bassist Dan Kenny adds: ""He didn't sing just to sing. It just came out so it felt normal and natural."

And that's all the info we got for the new Suicide Silence album so far ! I think we will have some more until the album comes .

New System Of A Down Album Confirmed

New SOAD Album In 2017

Its official SOAD's making a new album in 2017.After many photos that the band member
(except Serj Tankian) spending hours in studio without any real explanation by them its been confirmed. Its been about 12 years since the last album of the band with rumors of the band break and new album rumors spreading every few months in metal news report . SOAD since the last album have been doing few small shows per year with the fans wanting a lot new material . As the bands drummer said in  Kerrang! Magazine :

"I want everyone on board and feeling good about it, that's what we're trying to accomplish right now. There's a tremendous amount of pressure on us, though, because it's been 11 years – at least 12 by the time it comes out. Our playing ability is better than it ever has been and we're trying new things. We're not trying to make 'Toxicity' Part II, just because it was by far our biggest album. This needs to be something for a new generation of SOAD fans, so everyone can see we're not resting on our laurels."

After hearing this I wonder . How the band would sound like after so many years because the member are the same but they grew older and the chemistry might not be the same ! Who Know ?

Kanye West Spotted Wearing Testament Shirt And Skolnick's Answer

This Has Become A Thing Now

It has become a thing now that pop stars and celebrities wear metal bands shirt in public appearances .Justin Bieber , The Kardashians Rihanna and many other have wore Iron Maiden,Slayer and Metallica . The reaction of the metal world is simple . Just don't do it you pissing us of . Wearing a shirt of a band you don't know makes you look stupid and everyone knows you do it just to provoke .In the world of the metalhead a band's is more than a shirt you need guts to be able to walk with one but I don't have to explain this because every time this happens the bands them self take action and usually roast everyone who does this . This time it happened to be Kanye West wearing a Testamen shirt with Alex Skolnick's offering one of the most hysterical responses ever. Once Alex saw this incident he shares some hilarious thoughts on Facebook.

"Oh no he didn’t! Wait, yes he did…Goodness gracious. This whole decrepit clan must have picked up a pile of old concert t-shirts (the same pile Kourtney K’s Slayer shirt came from) which have somehow become a “thing” in trendy fashion (who’d have thought?!!). Inconceivable that any of these pop culture vultures know who the heck any of the bands are. My guess is he thinks it’s a religious group (not the 1st time that’s happened) That is, if he thinks at all, which lately, seems unlikely. And I thought this time period couldn’t get any weirder…"

He also posted on Instagram!

Had a bizarre dream: Prince & Bowie died, Cubs won World Series, Trump won US Election, Brad & Angie split up & Kanye wore a Testament shirt. Must have been a nightmare 😉. Alright..see my FB post for my full commentary (not enough space here).... I like hip-hop generally and while not a Kanye West fan, I recognize that Kanye is respected by some folks in the music industry whom I respect. Normally I'd be flattered and appreciative from 1 artist 2 another (those who follow me outside Testament know I'm very open musically & work with artists of many genres). If Kanye genuinely knows and likes Testament - and isn't just wearing our shirt as part of this current bizarre fad among trendy fashionistas and Hollywood types to wear old metal concert Ts - then that's great, more power to him and respect. However, I truly doubt that's the case (and would love to be proven wrong). It's not the music/artist part of the equation I have a problem with - it is the Reality TV, publicity junkie part. Kanye may consider himself an artist, which I can accept (although an artist on the level of those he compares himself to? Pablo Picasso? Sorry, not feeling it). Artistry aside, the Kardashian clan (of which he's a part of by marriage) are not doing art - it is the lowest form of cheap entertainment, turning people into brainless nincompoops and slowly destroying the country, a place that's descended to the point of the majority now embracing anti-intellectualism, denying facts, disbelieving science, believing fake news, avoiding rationality, shunning critical thinking and no longer recognizing the difference between reality and reality TV (case in point: electing a Reality TV star as President, someone Kanye is now cozying up to). I find these offenses so unforgivable that I cannot find enjoyment in a major celebrity and artist I'd otherwise respect (musically, at least) wearing our shirt, much as I'd like to. So my initial response, while admittedly less eloquent, it is still an honest reflection of the moment. Nine Inch Nails Streaming New Music After 3 Years Featuring Dave Grohl

It seems like we got some new music from Nine Inch Nails which is a nice christmas gift to us . The band after their last album Hesitation Marks havent released anything about new work until yesterday that the band has upload a new song on youtube with the name Burning Bright(Field On Fire) . And this is nothing. today the band has made 4 more songs available for streaming on spotify and if this wasnt enough they reveal to us that some song have collaborations . Dave Grohl (Foo FIghters,Nirvana) Dave Navarro ,  Mariqueen Maandig (Reznor's Wife) are the those we know for sure.Now all we have to do is wait for a new album (Video Down Below).Also the album will be named Not the Actual Events.Trent Reznor stated:

Mastodon Album Update

Time Is A Very Big Theme

It seems like we have an album update on the new Mastodon Album . The band's drummer gave us some informations on Rolling Stone about upcoming work and the collaboration with producer Brendan O'Brien.
He said :

"Time is a very big theme of the album. How much time do we have left? What are we doing with our time?"

"I get a little movie going in my head about a situation and I start writing about that. I try really hard to make it personal and relatable and not too esoteric. It's embarrassing to write lyrics. I'm a drummer, and I sing a little bit. Together we tackle these things and we figure it out - how to be this vocally driven band that has three people singing that don't want to sing."

"At the end of the story, the person simultaneously dies and is saved. It's about going through cancer, going through chemotherapy and all the things associated with that. I didn't want to be literal about it. But it's all in there. You can read between the lines."

"We always resort to the heavy, heavy, but I'd like to try to be adult and be able to go out there," he said. "When you play acoustically, you're pretty much naked. Do you really want everyone to see that? Maybe we're ready to be naked."

Metallica's James Hetfield Favorite Song From New Album

Hetfield Explains

James Hetfield was recently interviewed by Deezer (Video Down Below) about the new album and the new songs . They ask him about the all lot of questions and one of them was "Whats your favorite track of the new album?" He replied  :

 "It's really difficult because I love them all and they're still fresh for me. When I think, 'That's my favorite,' it's, 'Oh, now the video has actually made this my favorite!'

"I'm blessed that I like them all, but I think 'Dream No More' is one of my favorites - just heavy! And scary. 'The Thing That Should Not Be' you know, that department."

During the rest of the chat, Het explained just how important it is for the boys to keep creating new material, saying:

"To make new music is very important for us. It's easy to go and just play the songs that people enjoy or become a nostalgia act, but for us, we're artists and that would be a major part of us dying."

Imagine this . You are working in a super market deli and your really into metal . Suddenly  when you are cutting some salami you raise your head and you face all the band member of Metallica coming toward you . What do you do? I dont really know but this guy lost his mind after the band showed up in his work with a speaker playing "Enter Sandman" . So he starting to sing along with the band and headbanging (Video Down Below) . The band also joined a member of the store's staff in singing along to the track while customers looked on.
Comedian Billy Eichner was also part of the event, which is expected to appear on an upcoming episode of his show Billy On The Street .

Joe Bonamassa Hits Security Guard With His Guitar

He Hit Him In The Head With Rare 1951 Fender

This incident happened at the Brady Theater in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on December 9 .Joe was playing when he noticed a security guard harassing a fan .Then without second though he just hit him in the head with his rare 1951 Fender Telecaster . After this incident he upload a photo on his Instagram account along with the following note: 

“And to the bouncer who harassed one of our fans up front... That is why you can now tell your family and friends what a 51 Fender No-caster to the head feels like. Don’t ever put hands on my fans again. Consider that a love tap reminder.”

Avenged Sevenfold To Work With Cirque du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil(Circus of the sun) is a Canadian entertainment company which make live show with acrobats that will make your mind travel (Video Down Below) . Know we learn from Metal Hammer that the band has hires the company behind Cirque du Soleil to manage the production on their upcoming live shows . M.Shadows tells Metal Hammer: "

"The production that's being built is different for us, different for anyone I've ever seen, the people we've hired don't do tours, they do Cirque du Soleil. "

"This is gonna be drawn out into different types of touring, we're not going on tour for six months, it'll be two weeks on, two weeks off.

"It'll be a longer cycle but we're gonna roll with the punches.We're an oddball."

"A lot of bands live, breathe and die the 2016 metal scene, but we just live in our own world and try to do things different than everyone else.

"I don't ever feel like we fit in. We're going to be whatever we feel is right, and if it changes the industry, then great."

RHCP's Klinghoffer Filming Crowed Instead Of Playing Solo

I Believe He Has Right

This incident happened in Torino , Italy on October 11 in the bands concert there. It seems like the guitarist Josh Klinghoffer got upset of the crowed's heavy camera using and as a reaction we pulled out his phone and start filming the crowed instead of playing the solo for Californication .

A fan who saw the Chili Peppers recently noted via Reddit:

"I was at the London show on Monday, two rows from the barrier on the right side of the arena... and the crowd were horrific.

"People literally filming every song, hardly anyone jumping or dancing out... And tbh, most of the people near me were actually there to see Babymetal by the looks of it."

"The biggest cheer RHCP got was went Anthony took his shirt off for fuck sake, and it's such a shame because the band played so fucking well and pulled out exciting shit like 'Higher Ground' and 'Right on Time.' Keep in mind I couldn't really see what was going on behind me, but it looked like there was more movement from the seated areas than the floor during 'Give It Away' as well."

Metal Hammer's Album Of The Year Is...

Metal Hammer magazine names Magma by Gojira as the best album of 2016.

The Metal Hammer magazine named Gojira's Magma album of the year 2016. Gojira's Magma sixth  sixth album was released in June and was quickly hailed by Metal Hammer readers as their favourite album of the year so far.Now Metal Hammer staff have agreed and made it official by naming Magma Album Of The Year in the new issue of the magazine. Gojira's frontman Joe Duplantier said about that :

"We always take the hard path. We could’ve done this record with a big-name producer, spent three weeks recording and that’s it."


"But instead we spent almost three years bleeding and sweating over this thing, building our own studio and producing ourselves."

"So all the choices and decisions we made on this record made it a potential disaster, ha ha! But instead it became this special, special thing. So to be Metal Hammer’s album of the year really means a lot.”

Avenged Sevenfold : The Reason We Fired Arin Ilejay

Once the "honeymoon period" was over, the band realized the drummer was simply not a good fit, singer M. Shadows explains.

  M. Shadows talked about the reason why Arin Ilejay was fired from the band in That's Not Metal Podcast . He said that :

"Arin got more and more distanced as time went on.

"It's kind of like everyone goes through their honeymoon period and it's all great, but then you start realizing that we're four guys that have a way we do things and then there's someone else that just doesn't really fit into that at all.

"And as nice of a guy as he is, there were just a bunch of things that didn't represent us at all, and you can't have that, especially when we've worked for so long and so hard at what we do. And the last thing we care about is our public perception of what we should do with our lives.

"So I went to the guys and said, 'We've gotta do something.' I'm, like, 'We've gotta ask Brooks Wackerman if he wants to join the band.' And it's funny, 'cause we've known Brooks forever, and it just seemed like such a bold move, only because he's in a band.

"And I play golf with the guys in Bad Religion. It just seemed bizarre, but it just happened that he was at that point in his life too where he wanted something different. So it all just worked out. But at the same time, I can see how, from the outside, everyone was [forming] their opinions on what we were doing."

As for the new drummer, Shadows added: "Brooks is older than us. We respect him, and we wouldn't have made this change unless we knew it was the right decision.

"We spent a long time, and, for whatever it is, we took heat from people that don't know anything about the situation, like, 'Oh, changing drummers again,' 'Oh, they're doing this,' and from the outside, we knew that was gonna be an issue. But on the inside, we were just making the necessary adjustments that we knew were gonna get us to this point to where we can put out something we're proud of, a guy that we can throw ideas at, and he can throw ideas at us, and we respect each other.

"He's a smart guy, he's a great guy to be around, and he's just a fantastic drummer. So, for us, we knew we were gonna take heat for the last couple of years with all these changes we were doing. But I think we've proved that we were doing all of our due diligence behind the scenes.

"We were making sure that everything, from taking our time writing the record to staying off the road to getting Brooks a year and a half ago... Obviously, we had to announce that earlier than we wanted to, because out of respect for Bad Religion - they needed to move on, and it would have been obvious what's going on - and out of respect for Arin, because Arin needed to move on."

In case you didn't know Firewind is Greek power metal band that consist

Gus G. - Guitar , Henning Basse - Vocals , Petros Christo - Bass ,  Bob Katsionis - Keyboards/Live Guitar ,  Jo Nunez - Drums .In case you didn't knew it Gus G. is the Ozzy Osbourne guitarist after Zakk Wylde. So now the band have announce the release of their upcoming 8th studio album, ”Immortals”, which will be released on January 20th, 2017 via the band’s longtime label partner Century Media Records in Europe & AFM Records in North America. Gus G. commented on the new album on 17 November :

“Today we're very happy to reveal the cover artwork for our 8th studio album. It's titled "Immortals" and it's the first concept album FIREWIND has ever made. Since we're from Greece, we thought it would be a cool idea to make a concept of Greek history and heritage. So, on this album we focused on the legendary battles of Thermopylae and Salamis during the 2nd Persian invasion of Greece in 480 BC. The artwork was once again created by our longtime collaborator, Gustavo Sazes and we feel it reflects the vibe we tried to capture on this album - Epic, Powerful, Glorious, Everlasting.”

“Immortals” marks the first time FIREWIND used an outside co-producer, working with Dennis Ward (Unisonic, Pink Cream 69), who not only engineered, mixed and mastered the album, but also co-wrote it together with Gus G.

Mastodon's Troy Sanders : New Album Is In The Bag

7th Album Is Ready To Go

One month ago we have been told by Mastodon that they are going back to Atlanta after their tour to start work for their new album with producer Brendan O’Brien before moving to Los Angeles for the mixing stage. The Next album is going to be released in 2017 . Bassist and vocalist Sanders tells Metal Hammer:

"We've got it in the bag. We're just putting a timeline together of when and where. So that's all coming together now. So 2017's

going to be an incredibly busy and fruitful year in the world of Mastodon."

"I'm fortunate to be able to say that. I'm very excited for what the new year will bring."

Also Troy shares some information of the supergroup that he plays into with the Name Gone is Gone features the Mastodon singer and bassist, At The Drive-In drummer Tony Hajjar, Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and guitarist and keyboardist Mike Zarin.

 "We've talked about it, but the thing with this band is that we're going to try to do as much as we can with the time that we have – which in reality is very slim."

"Between At The Drive-In, Mastodon and Queens Of The Stone Age, it's very rare that we're ever all home at the same time."

"We are going to do a record release show in Los Angeles on January 6, the day Echolocation comes out. So we're already talking about windows of time, and the next item on our agenda is doing a UK tour."

"So, I'm sure it'll happen, I just don't know when yet. But it would be 2017, and all four of us are very excited about making this happen, it's just about looking at our calendars collectively and saying, 'Okay, it's going to be at this place and this time'."

"So, yes, I promise you that that's actually the next thing on our to-do list, is to bring it to the UK. I would love that."

I am really impatience for their new album as long as for new Queen Of The Stone Age new album if their going to be any new album !

So now we got the Papa Emeritus IV as the woman says “Are you ready to start a new?" as the forth album is geting ready . A Nameless Ghoul have said about it :

"It’s a continuation of Meliora, but it’s sort of a response. I've used the word ‘pre-acopalyptic’ on Meliora. It's sort of the height of civilisation, and, obviously, there has to be an end to that.

"If there was an absence of a God, there might be a return of a deity, which usually comes in horrible form. So it will be a darker album."

"Now That We're Gone" (Video Down Below) is the music video that was uploaded 30 minutes ago just to add another music video of Metallica new album until they upload them all . This time in this music video the band just plays in room with cameras filming them and the logo of the new album appears in the face of band members . Nothing special . Until you here the riffs . The way that Lars plays the drum the rythm the bass line and the riffs . So far its my favorite song of this album its slow but its heavy . As for james voice...Perfect just perfect in the high frequencies and the low ones . This video was directed by Herring and Herring and its the forth for today the next one will be in 1 hour and 15 minutes .

Lets Hope That I Don't Fall Asleep

I live in Greece you know and the time is 23:24 lets hope that I don't fall asleep . So now to the point guess what ?? Ohh yeah we got another one . This time is the "ManUNkind" . In this video we see what is supposed to be Metallica in a younger age . In the beginning of the video we year all the kids shouting Metallica but we see 4 kids that look like Metallica but with satanic nature . By that I mean the reversed cross and the head of a pig. The faces of the children have their faces painted like death metal band and at the end the singer cut his veins with a knife with the crowed cheering . The end is too disgusting to describe . As Braveworks says:
