Is New Tool Album Ready??

In the latest new we learnt that, Tool is reportedly in talks to finally make their entire musical catalog available on streaming services ahead of their upcoming fifth studio album.
According to Bloomberg, Maynard James Keenan and Co. are in talks with multiple streaming services, including Spotify and Apple Music, about the best way to release their music online.


The long-anticipated untitled fifth album will be Tool's first album in over a decade, and the release marks the first time that fans will be able to legally download and stream the greatest rock band of the 90's. With Metallica giving in and allowing their catalog to be streamed via Spotify in 2012 (wow, it's been that long already?), Tool is the last big metal band that continues to refuse joining the digital age.
Not surprisingly, Bloomberg could not reach Maynard for comment and the music streaming services declined to comment altogether. It is kind of crazy to see Tool, of all bands, make Bloomberg's financial radar, but I guess that happens when your arena dates sell out in 60 seconds or less.
Tool is no doubt trying to capitalize the best way possible now that the revenue from streaming services is giving the music industry growth for the second consecutive year in a row since the pre-Napster era of the 1990's.
Bands and musicians in other genres have almost all given in to the lure of streaming services, as Prince's catalog was put online in February. Whoever manages The Beatles' music gave in several years ago. Garth Brooks and Church of Satan clone Taylor Swift are the only two artists that come to my mind that are still refusing to join Spotify, although I think you can stream the latter on another platform.

What do you think? I think new tool album is on the way cause we learn that frontman Maynard James Keenan is spending his time in a studio !!! I think now its the right time for a new Tool album !

Tool US Summer Tour Announced

If you love Tool and live in US you are really lucky because your favorite band is going to tour across the country . Moments ago, Tool posted on their Facebook page alerting fans "We are very excited to announce that TOOL will be bringing their unparalleled sonic and visual experience to a select number of cities in May and June 2017."  It doesn't look like the west coast is getting much love on this run of dates. Here is the routing as it's currently announced:

05/24 Fairfax, VA – Eaglebank Arena
05/27 Bangor, ME – Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion
05/28 Allston, MA – Harvard Athletic Complex (‘Boston Calling‘)
05/30 Rochester, NY – Blue Cross Arena

Also we learnt that frontman is working on some vocals read more here!So far 10 concerts will be done but the band maybe announce more ! All shows go on sale this Friday, March 17th at 10am local time, except for the Chicago show, which goes on sale at 11am. VIP packages go on sale this Wednesday, March 15 at 10am local time for Tool Army members. Lucky fans!!!

Maynard James Keenan Has Begun Working On New Tool Album

Everyone Will Lose Their Mind!

Many times before Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan has been asked about new Tool material as Tool fans was always obsessed with the fact of the band creating a new album or even a song .The answer was not really clear but as the time has showed nothing was happening with the band progress . Maynard says :
“I have not written any songs. So no, there is nothing.”
Maynard had previously said he doesn't begin his job until the rest of the band is done with the music. Then, he comes in and begins writing. But an official update on their official website comes to prove otherwise :

“In speaking with Danny [Carey, drummer] last night, he told me that the band has temporarily MOVED some of their gear into a larger space (across town) where MAYNARD is working on VOCALS for some of the new Tool material. I’m sure that he has already been doing this to some extent, but now he has more room to breathe and a better vocal booth.”

So whats going on???? The band writing new music?? The just say these things just to provoke!!! Who knows ?? The only sure thing is that Tool fans will be really upset with news like this!!
